$18.84 Million in Lottery Prizes Won in March 2021

Kansas Lottery players pocketed a stunning $18.84 million in prizes in March 2021! Of that, $15.97 million was claimed on instant scratch games, $1.75 million was won on draw games, and $1.12 million was won on monitor games!

Kansas is one of seven states where winners can claim their prizes anonymously. The Kansas Lottery saw 24 players claim instant prizes of $10,000 or greater, and five those winners shared their stories with the Kansas Lottery. Their stories can be found here. Some highlights from instant winners include:

  • One $150,000 winner on the $20 Extreme Crossword ticket;
  • Two $100,000 prizes, one each on the $20 200X ticket and $10 $100,000 Crossword game;
  • Four $75,000 prizes, one each on the $10 Power 10X, $10 Precious Metals Super Ticket, new $10 Bonus Payout, and $10 Lucky Slots, which was the last top prize in the game;
  • One $50,000 prize on the $5 Super Red Hot Crossword ticket; and
  • Five $25,000 prizes, two on the new $5 Cash Cow ticket, and one each on the $5 2021 Doubler, $5 Rivalry Riches, and $5 Bingo Times 20 Bonus games.

Below is how much was won throughout March for draw and monitor games:

  • Powerball: $303,654, including one $50,000 prize;
  • Mega Millions: $115,210;
  • Lotto America: $127,084, including two $1,000 wins;
  • Super Kansas Cash: $355,183, including 12 $2,000 wins;
  • Lucky for Life: $177,040;
  • Pick 3: $496,400, including 624 winners who each won $500;
  • 2by2: $178,309, including four $22,000 top prizes;
  • Keno: $627,360; and
  • Racetrax: $487,651.50.

The Kansas Lottery encourages players to double-check their tickets since many large prizes remain unclaimed, including two $50,000 Powerball prizes sold in South Central Kansas and several Holiday Millionaire Raffle prizes of $1,000 or more! Players have 365 days from the date of a drawing to claim their prize. For instant games, players have 180 days from the date a game ends to claim.
